The Vietnam International Exhibition on Construction and Real Estate 2013 (Vietbuild 2013) kicked off in Vietnam's southern Can Tho city on Wednesday, providing a playground for domestic and foreign firms in the field.
According to state-run Vietnam News Agency, the event, themed " Construction, Real Estate, Building Materials, and Interior and Exterior Decoration," attracted more than 200 domestic and foreign businesses, who showcased their products at 450 booths.
Among foreign participants are those from China, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia and Thailand.
On display are new products of local and global trademarks in the fields of construction materials, interior and exterior decoration, and real estate.
Models of industrial parks, residential areas, office buildings, resorts and real estate exchange projects are also introduced to visitors.
During the five-day expo, sideline events will be held, including seminars on new technologies, environmentally friendly products of the construction and real estate sectors in the integration and development process, potential and opportunities for property investment and new construction policies.
